Version 3.7.001

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. AVEVA Enterprise Licensing 3.7 onwards supports configuring a License Server in Configurator even if it fails to validate.
  2. Support to populate the Trial License duration period and Trial start date in Local License Viewer.
  3. Support to the domain user to access the License Server.
  4. Support Part Numbers with asterisk '*' character in the .avevalic file.
  5. Performance improvements in Checkout operations.

Version 3.7

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. Support to configure a License Server in Configurator even if it fails to validate.
  2. Support for back-end applications including terminal services to acquire licenses by specifying the part number details in the .avevalic configuration file.
  3. For more information, see Acquiring Licenses for Backend Applications in the AVEVA Enterprise Licensing Help.
  4. Support for License Manager to run on port 443 with HTTPS protocol.
  5. The Serial Number column in the License Activation screen allows easier identification and selection of licenses in the grid.

Version 3.6

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. Support to import and export device and user reservations as .csv files.
  2. Support to manage and check out licenses:
    1. using the Checkout Utility based on the part numbers;
    2. using the Device Reservation tab in License Manager based on the features.
  3. Support to reserve licenses separately for devices and users using the Device Reservation and User Reservation tabs, respectively.

  1. Enhanced License Server diagnostics reporting to SMC Log and Grace Period analysis reporting for virtual environments.

Version 3.3

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. Configures the licensing nodes that are in workgroup environment using SE Licensing. Workgroup Configuration Utility, so that node-to-node communication can be established between licensing components.
  2. Supports authorization of License Server from License Manager
  3. Support to Unpair a license server from a paired server that is no longer available

Version 3.2

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. User interface and user experience enhancements. In particular, the license activation slide-in pane has been replaced by a larger, more informative activation page for easier license activation. License reservation management has also been enhanced for easier use and a more informative display of information.
  2. License Manager logger message enhancements. Messages logged in the System Management Console (SMC) Logger have been expanded to provide more information about licensing functionality.
  3. Added local user groups to enhance License Manager access. User groups are automatically created during installation. Group membership can be managed directly in the Windows operating system.
  4. Improved Reservation.
  5. Improved pagination in all License Manager Table Grids.
  6. Improved page Refresh.

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. Reserve licenses for both devices and users.
  2. Enhanced Usage View with friendly feature name display.
  3. View detailed information for a specific license.
  4. License server redundancy functionality.
  5. Actions for managing the Schneider Electric Licensing System in a virtual environment. The following platforms are supported:
    1. Azure
    2. Hyper-V
    3. VMware
  6. Command line tool for bulk import, add server, and license activation.

Version 3.0

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:
  1. Redundant License Server configuration.
  2. Reset grace period of License Server.
  3. Independent license features Activation/Reservation/Deactivation.
  4. License Manager Auto Refresh functionality.
  5. License Server with new Server ID.
  6. Updated License Configurator plugin with Workgroup configuration message.
  7. Changed log flag to Trace from error/warning.
